Contract #2019-2005: Reconstruction of Hwy 48 & 19 Avenue intersection Improvement outline as follows: Installation of permanent traffic signals. Traffic signals will be AODA compliant.; Widening of Highway 48 to introduce new right / left turn lanes.; Asphalt pavement rehabilitation;
Drainage improvements including general grading of ditches, culvert flushing and cleanout culvert replacements.; Roadside safety improvements.; Provision of appropriate illumination levels at the intersection.; New toe walls; Structural culvert rehabilitation (37-1195/C); and Utility relocations.
