This is to certify that the contract for the following improvement:
Contract No. ENG-2018-015' Part A Works include the reconstruction and rejuvenation of Midland's downtown core along King Street, between Yonge Street and Bayshore Drive. Infrastructure renewal generally included the installation of new sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, full road reconstruction, complete with streetscape improvements within the boulevards and new traffic signals and streetlights. Part A include all works, except those described as Part B Works below.
Part B Works include crosswalks at Bayshore Drive, Dominion Avenue, Hugel Avenue, Elizabeth Street and Yonge Street, mid-block crosswalks at Sta. 1+390 and Sta. 1+550, all plantings, restoration within the west boulevard from Sta. 1+650 to Sta. 1+660 (specifically referred to as the Yonge Street gateway), parging of service installation within the interior of all buildings, harbour entrance streetlight conversions (as per Change Order 41), the Neezhoday Park improvements (as per Change Order 46), the alley restoration (as per Change Order 47), the Bayshore Gateway Art slab (as per Change Order 52) and the installation of bike racks and tree guards.
