Bert Clark new CEO for Infrastructure Ontario

Daily Commercial News

Bert Clark will be the new chief executive officer of Infrastructure Ontario August 7, replacing David Livingston, who left in May to become chief of staff to Premier Dalton McGuinty.

Infrastructure Ontario recently announced Bert Clark will be the procurement agency’s chief executive officer August 7, replacing David Livingston, who left in May to become chief of staff to Premier Dalton McGuinty.

Clark, a former senior vice-president for projects for IO, has been Managing Director of Scotia Capital’s Global Infrastructure Finance Group for the past four years.

Since Livingston left, the interim CEO has been Tony Ross, chair of the board of directors.

From 2003 to 2005, Clark was Senior Policy Advisor to McGuinty.

Infrastructure Ontario is a crown corporation that manages government real estate and the process to design, build, finance and maintain large projects, including hospitals, educational, justice and transportation facilities, using the alternative financing and procurement (AFP) model.

Last year, the province merged Ontario Realty Corp. and Stadium Corporation of Ontario Ltd. with IO into a new organization that reports to Bob Chiarelli, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure.
