Frank DeCaria, president and CEO of Toronto-based Eastern Construction Co. Ltd., has been elected chairman of the Ontario General Contractors Association.

Frank DeCaria, president and CEO of Toronto-based Eastern Construction Co. Ltd., has been elected chairman of the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA).
He succeeds Sandy Graham, general manager of North Bay’s Kenalex Construction Co. Ltd.
An OGCA board member since 1996, DeCaria joined Eastern in 1978 after graduating from the civil engineering program at the University of Toronto. During his career, he has held positions in both field operations and estimating. He was appointed president and CEO in 2004.
He took over the OGCA helm last Friday during the association’s annual general meeting and conference in Ottawa. OGCA represents more than 200 general contracting firms from across the province.
