HAMILTON, ONT. — The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) inducted Dave Crawford into its Hall of Fame at the 98th annual general meeting and dinner Feb. 22.
Crawford was recognized for his contributions to the Hamilton region and provincial construction industry, including 25 years on the Mechanical Trades Bargaining Committee and service on the McMaster Student Chapter of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton (MCAH), noted a media statement.
Crawford has worked at Sheafer-Townsend Construction, National Construction and Comstock Canada and worked on projects for Dofasco (now Arcelor Mittal Dofasco), International Harvester, Chedoke Hospital and Stelco. He has served as a director with the Canadian Construction Association, Ontario Erectors Association, the Mechanical Contractors Association of Ontario and MCAH.
Crawford served as president of HHCA in 2002-2003.
