TORONTO — McMillan LLP is hosting a moderated panel discussion online on May 14 featuring four top executives from national construction sector organizations.
Panellists participating in the webinar, which is titled Construction after COVID-19: Finding new Coherence Amid a Shaken Industry, are Mary Van Buren, president of the Canadian Construction Association, Sandra Skivsky, chair of the National Trade Contractors Council of Canada, John Gamble, president and CEO of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies — Canada, and Clive Thurston, president of the Ontario General Contractors Association.
The moderator will be Patrick Thompson, partner with the Construction Group of McMillan.
The free hour-and-a-half webinar starts at 3 p.m.
“While the pandemic has certainly elevated everyone’s stress level, our present circumstances are forcing the industry to make quick adaptations as it rethinks attitudes and practices that were prevalent mere weeks ago. It may also contain the seeds for the kind of innovation for which the industry is renowned,” McMillan wrote in the event invitation.
