HAMILTON — The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) is hosting its annual Construction Industry Forecast event on Jan. 19 at the Michelangelo Banquet Centre in Hamilton.
The event will feature presentations by major buyers of construction in the region who will talk about their upcoming projects for the current year and beyond.
The lineup this year will feature speakers from McMaster University, City of Hamilton Water, Mohawk College, Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority and Slate Asset Management. ConstructConnect will also present an economic update.
The registration fee is $65 for HHCA members and $85 for non-members.
“Hamilton continues to see a strong construction market; 2022 was the 11th consecutive year that the City of Hamilton issued more than $1 billion dollars in building permits with a construction value of $1.86 billion, the second highest value in the City’s history,” said Ryan Kneisz, HHCA president, in a statement. “The forecast is a great way for our members to learn about what’s on the short- and long-term horizons in our area.”
