MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies-Ontario has announced it has launched a continuing professional development (CPD) platform for professional engineers to meet new mandatory guidelines from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) that took effect this year.
The new program, EngineeringCPD.ca, is aligned with PEO’s PEAK program requirements, stated a release.
Staff of ACEC member companies from across Canada will be provided a 25-per-cent discount off the published rates.
The platform offers a searchable database and tracks programs, hours and billing.
“We are excited to be launching a platform that is designed to make regulatory compliance simple and affordable for professional engineers employed by ACEC member companies,” stated Bruce Matthews, executive director of ACEC-Ontario, in a statement. “It’s intended to make the management of CPD straightforward, and we provide significant discounts to our community, all a part of the member benefits with ACEC-Ontario.”
