TORONTO — The Utility Contractors Association of Ontario (UCAO) has announced the appointment of Margaret Taylor as its new executive director, effective Dec. 13.
Taylor, who has experience in construction trade association management, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, will remain executive director with the Ontario Association of Demolition Contractors.

“We are delighted to welcome Margaret Taylor as our new executive director,” said UCAO board chair Jeff Brown in a statement. “Her vision and expertise align seamlessly with the UCAO’s mission to advance the interests of utility contractors in Ontario.”
Taylor stated, “I am honoured to join the Utility Contractors Association of Ontario and look forward to working closely with our members, partners, and stakeholders. Together, we will navigate the evolving landscape of the utility sector, drive innovation, and ensure the UCAO remains a pivotal force in advancing the interests of our members.”
