VAUGHAN, ONT. – Nadia Todorova, executive director of the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario (RCCAO) has assumed the role of chair of the Construction & Design Alliance of Ontario (CDAO).
CDAO is a forum for discussion, development and advocacy of the broader construction industry’s issues related to provincial government policy, legislation and/or regulation.
Todorova said leading the CDAO is an honour and as chair she is eager to strengthen its role in driving impactful change for the industry in navigating the economic and regulatory environments members confront every day.
“The CDAO is an integral and collaborative forum, bringing together the alliances and stakeholders that make up the construction sector in Ontario,” said Todorova in a statement. “Given the wealth of expertise around the table, I look forward to the impactful work that CDAO can do including to advance the development of a procurement guide for industry and public owners and serving the needs of our members.”
She thanked Bart Kanters for his leadership over the past two years, as well as Sharon Portelli for her valuable contributions, particularly in leading the 2023 Procurement Day. She said both have been instrumental in the association’s progress and the CDAO is grateful for their service.
