Chandos Construction appoints new leadership to help facilitate expansion

TORONTO — Chandos Construction has appointed new leadership in the Toronto district to support the organization’s national expansion.

Greg Stack has been named area manager and Joe Perry has been named director of construction strategy. Ellie Choi has joined the firm as vice-president and general counsel based in Toronto. In addition, Markku Allison, vice-president of strategy and innovation, and Tim Coldwell, president of Chandos, have both relocated to Toronto.

Stack has 35 years of experience in the Toronto market having spent the vast majority of his career with Kenaidan Contracting. Perry joins Chandos from EllisDon and has 20 years of experience in the Toronto market including helping to execute the Sault Area Hospital, CIBC Square and MTO Service Stations across Ontario.

Choi was previously vice-president and counsel with Travelers where she led the surety and warranty claim departments and brings 20 years of experience to the team.

“I am looking forward to being based in Toronto, working closely with our Ontario team as well as our leadership teams in British Columbia and Alberta,” said Coldwell in a statement. “The opportunities before us are many and significant; I am both eager and excited to see what the next few years will bring.”
