OTTAWA — Global engineering firm EXP has announced the appointment of Reece Bailey as executive vice-president, major projects, to lead its major projects sector based in Ottawa.

EXP, with offices across Canada and in the U.S., also does architecture, design and consulting work, stated a release. Bailey has 25 years of experience in transit and rail design, operations, facilities and systems engineering, most recently with SNC-Lavalin.

EXP’s portfolio of major transit and infrastructure projects includes the Hurontario LRT, Pattullo Bridge, Davenport Diamond project, Toronto Union Station, Chicago’s Red-Purple Line and Montreal’s Blue Line Extension.

“Across North America, we continue to execute on our strategic vision of leading world-class transportation projects,” said Mark Dvorak, president and COO of EXP, in the release. “With the addition of Reece, we see a great opportunity to bolster our presence in the public-private partnerships and design-build market and successfully pursue and deliver significant projects that benefit mass transportation, mobility and accessibility.”
