Labour, construction price reports coming from StatsCan

Watch for major construction sector reports from Statistics Canada tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow Q3 construction prices indexes will be released and Friday the October Labour Force Survey and an Asphalt roofing material report for September will be available.  

 

SpruceLand officially dissolves

SpruceLand Properties Inc. yesterday announced it has dissolved pursuant to the provisions of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta). The corporation, formerly Spruce Land Developments Ltd., was founded with the construction of a multi-family project in Slave Lake, Alta. in 1969. Prior to the sale of its real estate assets it had a portfolio of revenue-producing properties including office, retail and industrial buildings and manufactured home parks in numerous communities in Western Canada.   

 

Tomorrow is Ontario budget day

Ontario Premier Doug Ford will be joined by Minister of Finance Rod Phillips, Minister of Infrastructure Laurie Scott and President of the Treasury Board Peter Bethlenfalvy at his daily briefing today at 1 p.m. Tomorrow is Ontario’s budget day.
