CES completes deal for Cricket Energy
CSE Utility Management Inc. today announced the completion of its acquisition of Cricket Energy Holdings Inc., a Canadian provider of smart home energy metering services, in a transaction valued at over $200 million. The transaction aligns ownership interests of Cricket/Provident and OZZ Group Inc., said a release, allowing the companies to “more strategically respond to growing demands in the new construction market.”
Skills Ontario announces Winterfest program
Skills Ontario announced today a new initiative designed to encourage youth to develop their skills and build their confidence, #SkillsWinterfest2020. Activities include workshops in gingerbread baking and connecting circuits and presentations to learn more about skilled trades and technology careers.
Aerospace Innovation Forum announces lineup
Aero Montreal today announced details of its Aerospace Innovation Forum 2020, being held Dec. 14 and 15 this year under the theme of Smart Travelling Rethought, in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada and the Palais des Congres de Montreal. Programming will be virtual with speakers including representatives of Airbus, Bell, Bombardier, CAE, the Canadian Space Agency, Pratt and Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Premier of Quebec Francois Legault and federal Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Navdeep Bains.
