GFL reports major growth in 2020
Ontario-based GFL Engineering announced yesterday that its revenue for the year ended Dec. 31, 2020 was $4.196 billion, an increase of 25.4 per cent over 2019. The fourth quarter was strong, with revenue growth of 37.8 per cent and adjusted EBITDA growth of 49 per cent. GFL is the fourth largest diversified environmental services company in North America.
Feds make tech grant in Chaudiere-Appalaches region
The federal government this morning announced financial support totalling $520,000 for a regional innovation centre in mechatronics and industrial mechanics based in the Chaudiere-Appalaches region. The funding will enable Mecanium to acquire digital equipment and software that will be made available to manufacturing businesses in the region.
