Madison Group donates to Scarborough Health Network
Real estate developer Madison Group has announced a $225,000 donation to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation in Toronto. The donation will be going towards a new diagnostic imaging concourse at the network’s general hospital. Madison has properties in Toronto and New York City.
Leaders on the go
With one week to go before the federal election, the three main national leaders have announced their agendas for today. Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau will be in Vancouver where he will make a morning announcement. Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole visits Ottawa where he makes an announcement then holds a virtual telephone town hall with residents of Ontario followed by another for residents of British Columbia. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is in Sioux Lookout, Ont. where he will meet with the media then visit members of the Neskantaga First Nation.
Sherrin acquires U.S. properties from Starlight fund
Starlight U.S. Multi-Family (No. 1) Core Plus Fund announced Friday (Sept. 10) that it has entered into an agreement with Sherrin U.S. Multi-Family (No. 1) Holding LP under which Sherrin will acquire Starlight’s portfolio of seven class “A” institutional multi-family properties totalling 2,219 units located in the United States. The deal is valued at US$600 million.
IO announces new CDO
Infrastructure Ontario (IO) has introduced Heather Grey-Wolf as a new member of IO’s executive management team. Grey-Wolf is taking on the new role of chief development officer starting Oct. 4.
EverGen joins TSX Venture Exchange
B.C.-based EverGen Infrastructure Corp participated in a virtual ceremony last Thursday (Sept. 9) in which it celebrated its new listing on the TSX Venture Exchange by opening the market for the day. EverGen develops, builds, owns and operates a portfolio of renewable natural gas, waste-to-energy and related infrastructure projects focused on British Columbia with plans to expand across North America.
