Walker promoted to Eastern Construction president

TORONTO — Eastern Construction has announced that Dean Walker has assumed the role of president.

Walker has been with Eastern Construction since 2005. Bryan Arnold continues in the role of CEO and chairman of the board, as outlined in the 2019 Leadership Succession Plan at Eastern.

Over the course of his career at Eastern, Walker has held the positions of project co-ordinator, superintendent, assistant project manager, project manager and project director. He joined the senior management team in 2018 and was named executive vice-president in 2021, where he has participated in business development, bidding and proposals, human resources, operations, procurement and finance.

“Dean is a natural team-builder and quickly fosters confidence among peers,” stated a release. “Acting as a resource, Dean takes the time to educate and support his colleagues and applies the same level of professionalism dealing with designers and trade contractors.”
