Pickleplex Social Club announces new Pickering site

PICKERING, ONT. — Pickleplex Social Club has announced plans to open its second location, at The Shops at Pickering City Centre in Pickering, Ont.

The club will open later this year, stated a release. The facility will feature multiple courts, change rooms, locker facilities, advanced lighting and year-round temperature control.

“We believe pickleball is a sport for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out,” stated Steven Fry, co-owner of Pickleplex, in a statement. “It’s not only a fun and dynamic game, but it’s also a social experience. That’s why we’ve designed our new Pickering location to include multipurpose spaces that encourage both play and social gatherings.”
