MONTREAL
The Montreal borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro has awarded a $746,019.54 contract to Les Entrepreneurs Bucaro to reconstruct a parking lot.
The project will take place at the Borough Hall of Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Quebec, about 10 kilometres northwest of Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport. The contract was approved by the Borough Council at a meeting Thursday.
The project includes the redevelopment of the west entrance of the building, construction of an access ramp for disabled persons, the addition of bicycle racks and two parking spaces with charging stations will be reserved for electric vehicles.
The parking lot "will be reconstructed while taking into consideration the fight against urban heat island effect and greenhouse gas emissions," the Borough stated in a press release today.
