SUDBURY, ONT. — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Sudbury, Ont. recently to take a tour of the progress being made on a project to extend Maley Drive.
The project includes the construction of new roads and updating existing roads from the intersection of LaSalle Boulevard and Frood Road to the intersection of Maley Drive and Falconbridge Highway, explains a release.
The federal government is spending $26.7 million through the New Building Canada Fund — Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component — National and Regional Projects.
The Government of Ontario is also investing $26.7 million and the City of Sudbury is responsible for the remainder of the cost.
