BROCCOLINI - The Riv will rise 34 storeys with 388 units and include a new pedestrian walkway linking to Bayview Avenue. The residence will sit the corner of River Street and Labatt Avenue next to Broccolini’s River & Fifth residential tower, which is currently under construction.

TORONTO – Montreal-based builder Broccolini has announced the launch of a second mixed-use condominium building on River Street in Toronto’s Downtown East neighbourhood.

The Riv will rise 34 storeys with 388 units and include a new pedestrian walkway linking to Bayview Avenue.

The residence will sit at the corner of River Street and Labatt Avenue next to Broccolini’s River & Fifth residential tower, which is currently under construction.

Suites at The Riv will start in the mid-$500,000s.

The design is by IBI Group and will feature a black-and-white exterior facade resembling a ship’s mast.

Interiors have been designed by Toronto-based Patton Design Studio.

Layouts range from studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites.

Amenities will span 18,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor spaces and will include an outdoor terrace with eastern waterfront views, a co-work/business studio, children’s room, a speakeasy, gym, meditation room, gaming lounge, tool annex and pet spa.

Suites will be equipped with Home by Broccolini, a smart-home system that allows residents to lock doors, access amenity spaces and allow visitor entry via a smartphone app or suite wall pad.

“Downtown East is one of the most exciting and accessible neighbourhoods in Toronto,” stated Anthony Broccolini, CEO of Broccolini, in a statement.

“It’s at a crossroads between established areas like Riverside and Corktown and exciting future communities like the Port Lands and East Harbour.”
