TORONTO — The City of Toronto has announced a program of overnight construction on the Don Mills Road Bridge over the Don Valley Parkway starting Sept. 5.
The work is to provide structural maintenance of the bridge to extend its lifespan, involving cleaning and coating the structural steel, which will help protect the structure from corrosion.
The project is part of the council-approved 2023 Capital Works Program.
To enable the work, there will be nightly traffic restrictions on the DVP near Don Mills Road. The restrictions will be in place from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday to Friday, and 11 p.m. to 9 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, until Nov. 3.
