IO issues RFQ for Peel Memorial Hospital redevelopment phase two

IO issues RFQ for Peel Memorial Hospital redevelopment phase two

TORONTO — Infrastructure Ontario and the William Osler Health System have issued a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) for the new Peel Memorial Hospital Phase 2 Redevelopment project.

The project will be delivered through IO’s progressive design-build (target price) contract model.

The new Peel Memorial Hospital will increase health care capacity in the community and address the need for more specialized care for patients requiring longer hospital stays, stated a release.

Other care streams will include services for older adults living with dementia and an emergency care centre.

Submissions received from the RFQ will be reviewed to shortlist teams with the required design and construction experience. Shortlisted teams will then be invited to respond to a Request for Proposals, which is expected to be released in fall 2024. Interested companies must register on merx.com to download the RFQ.
