Concrete work continues for the Market Wharf condominium/retail project in Toronto, Ont.

Bluescape Construction Management Inc. began the 35-storey project including an eight-storey podium in late 2009. The project includes a party room, theatre, fitness centre. steam rooms, a boardroom and retail/wholesale services in the podium. The project was designed by architectsAlliance and the owner is Context Development Inc.

Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); M.V. Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); and Scott Torrance Landscape Architects. Subtrades include: Coreydale Contracting Co. (excavation); Rumble Contracting Ltd. (foundation) and Paramount Structures Ltd. (formwork).
