Many Toronto office firms offering hybrid work models

Many Toronto office firms offering hybrid work models

TORONTO—A new survey of Toronto commercial tenants has found 75 per cent of them are offering their employees a hybrid model for return to work.

The research was conducted by Madison Group of Companies, which surveyed 32 of their commercial real estate (CRE) tenants, all from the Yonge and Eglinton area, a release issued earlier this month stated.

The results underscore the fact the CRE market is changing and having to adapt to a new era of flexible work, stated Danielle Singer, director, commercial and hospitality at Madison, in a statement.

In addition, 65 per cent of surveyed businesses would be returning to the office (as opposed to working entirely remotely) within the next 30 days.
Seventy-one per cent of businesses will be keeping some sort of mask policy in effect.
