TORONTO — The Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto East Office, recently announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Craig Blackett from injuries sustained at a construction site in 2016.

Blackett, 41, died on May 27, 2016. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act, noted coroner Bonnie Burke in a release.

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Blackett’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.
