Construction, renovation, and maintenance of health care facilities bring specific risks associated with potentially fatal infection and illness. Preventing and controlling infection while these activities take place requires the implementation and support of preventive measures intended to protect patients, staff, and visitors from potential harm. Focusing on the application of the CSA Z317.13 standard, participants will learn how to address necessary measures and help control infection risk in health care facilities.
CSA Group offers two 1-day trainings throughout the year in various regions across Canada
Infection Control: Part 1 – Fundamentals
Infection Control: Part 2 – Effective Implementation and Practical Applications
Are you aware that to qualify to work on most hospital renovation projects in Canada, you must take CSA’s Infection Control courses? After successfully completing the training and evaluation component, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
We will be hosting the following Infection Control sessions in February 2020 & March 2020, and if you register before February 5, 2020, you will receive a 10% early bird discount.
