HAMILTON – A worker was killed at the site of a precast concrete producer in the Hamilton community of Dundas on Monday afternoon.
The worker was reported to be cleaning a machine at Coreslab Structures on Coreslab Drive when the incident occurred. The employer is reported as Coreslab.
Two inspectors from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development were called to the scene. The investigation is continuing.
In July Coreslab was fined $90,000 after a worker was injured operating a shear machine to cut rebar. That incident took place Aug. 3, 2018 at the company’s Dundas plant.
