Worker hit by falling glass at Toronto construction site

TORONTO—A worker was injured Friday morning (Nov. 19) in Toronto when glass fell from a condominium building under construction.

The incident occurred at an EllisDon site at Front Street West and Draper Avenue close to 10:30 a.m., according to reports from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) and Toronto Police. The worker was not seriously injured. Front Street was closed between Spadina Avenue and Portland Street.

An MLTSD inspector was assigned and the investigation is continuing.
