MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after driving into a construction zone on the QEW in Mississauga, Ont.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the QEW near Mississauga Road.
A video on posted on the OPP Highway Safety Division Twitter shows a white sedan at the bottom of a pit on a construction cone surrounded by equipment and debris. It is unclear why the driver drove into the marked construction zone at this time.

According to reports, the car was towed and the scene was cleared.
Mississauga OPP is investigating the incident.
