TORONTO — Toronto Police and Metrolinx reported disruption of the UP Express line after a truck with a boom hit a transit bridge near Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West in Toronto during rush hour Friday morning.
Police posted at 7:25 a.m. that they were responding to the incident. Eastbound St. Clair was closed at Keele Street. A report indicated there were no injuries.
Metrolinx inspected the bridge and by 8:30 a.m. reported the inspection was complete and that trains were able to resume service. Delays were possible, said Metrolinx.
