OSHAWA, ONT. — Two men are facing several charges after breaking into a Hydro One field in Oshawa in late December.
According to Durham police, on Dec. 30 at 10 a.m., officers responded to a break-and-enter at the Hydro One field, located at 2745 Townline Rd.
Two males had allegedly cut numerous locks and entered several buildings located on a Hydro One field in an attempt to steal supplies. Officers located both suspects on the property and took them into custody without incident.
David Martin, 28, from Oshawa is charged with break-and-enter, mischief under $5,000, attempted theft under $5,000 and possessing break-in instruments.
Stefan Miceli, 44, from Oshawa is charged with break-and-enter, mischief under $5,000, attempted theft under $5,000 and possessing break-in instruments.
Both were released on an undertaking.
