Construction has reached the top floor of the Star Tower at Beyond the Sea condominiums in Toronto.

Empire Communities is owner/construction manager of the three-tower project equipped with state-of-the-art exercise room, a pool, theatre, billiards room, guest suites and four levels of underground parking. The project was designed by EI Richmond Architects Ltd. Consultants are: Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); United Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Tarra Engineering (shoring consultant); Munge Leung Design Associates (interior design); and Alexander Budrevics & Associates (landscape).

Subtrades include: Pro Caissons; Resform Construction Ltd.; Res Precast Inc.; Res Masonry; Dufferin Concrete; Network Mechanical Inc.; West-Mount Electric; Gage Metal Cladding Ltd. (roofing); Toro Aluminum Ltd. (windows) and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
