PHOTO: Tribute Communities works on Royal Canadian Military Institute condos in Toronto

Glass installation is progressing on the RCMI Residence Condo and mixed-use project on University Ave. in Toronto, Ont.

Tribute Communities is owner/general contractor of the 42-storey, 315-unit project with the first six levels for office space. There will also be amenity spaces including a private club and retail.

The tenant is the Royal Canadian Military Institute and the project was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects. Consultants are: Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Smith + Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical/electrical).

Subtrades include: Avenue Building Corp. (foundation); Associated Mechanical Trades Inc.; Nortown Electrical Contractors Associates and Newtech Iron Works (misc. hardware).
