Work is progressing on the Square One Shopping Centre southwest expansion in Mississauga, Ont.
Oxford Properties is the developer and EllisDon Corp. is constructing the 200,000 sq. ft. expansion with 120,000 sq. ft. of it containing a Holt Renfrew store that is scheduled to open in spring of 2016. The architects for the project are MMC Architecture, JPRA Architects and Janson Goldstein (façade design). Subtrades include: Anpro Excavating and Grading; Deep Foundations; Albrecht Reinforcing Steel; General Sprinklers; Groundworks Construction; Limen Group Ltd.; Lorvin Steel Ltd.; Marin 2000 Inc. Generation Group; Oakdale Drywall Ltd.; Paul & Douglas Automated Sprinklers Ltd.; Premform Limited; Quantum Murray LP; Toronto Concrete Floors Ltd.; Upper Canada Specialty Hardware Limited; Urban Mechanical Ltd. and Nortex Roofing Ltd.
