TORONTO — Crescent Hotels & Resorts of Fairfax, Va. recently announced it has been selected to manage and convert the Extended Stay hotel in Vaughan, Ont. to a Staybridge Suites facility.
Under the contract, Crescent will oversee the complete renovation and rebranding of the property, said a media statement. Crescent assumed management of the property on March 1 and renovations will begin immediately. The hotel will remain open and operate as Extended Stay Toronto Vaughan during the renovation and convert to Staybridge Suites Vaughan this summer.
The new facility will have a suites with fully equipped kitchens, work spaces, a business centre and a fitness centre.
“Crescent has extensive experience and success across Canada and the U.S. in renovating, rebranding and operating hotels,” said Michael George, president and CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, in the statement.
