MINNEAPLOIS, MINN.—Big-D Midwest Construction, along with Collage Architects and At Home Apartments, has broken ground on The Reserve at Sono Cottages and Apartment Homes.
The multi-family residential project features 163 units and is the seventh multi-family project collaboration between Big-D Midwest, Collage Architects and At Home Apartments.
“We truly appreciate our long partnership with At Home Apartments and Collage Architects and are thrilled to begin work on our seventh project together. With a variety of floor plans and so many great amenities, The Reserve at Sono will offer something for everyone while incorporating a community feel,” Big-D Midwest vice-president of operations Cory Schubert said in a statement.
“Building a new housing development is a long process that can be quite challenging but working with a construction partner that you can trust — one that has taken the time to really get to know your business and truly understands your development goals and housing vision really does make all the difference,” added At Home Apartments president of real estate and development and general counsel Leanna Stefaniak.
The project is located in Vadnais Heights, Minn. and consists of an 89-unit apartment building, as well as 74 townhome units built across 13 separate two-storey buildings. The apartment building is comprised of wood-framed construction and will have a 293-stall parking garage.
Community amenities include a pool and community room, walking trails, water features, work-from-home spaces, wine and coffee bars and a games den. Construction is estimated to be complete by summer 2022.
