Edenshaw launches 32-storey Mississauga condo tower

Edenshaw launches 32-storey Mississauga condo tower
EDENSHAW—Mississauga’s 32-storey Alba condominium project from Edenshaw Developments has a targeted completion date of 2025.

MISSISSAUGA, ONT.—Edenshaw Developments has launched sales of a new community, Alba, located at 1 Fairview Rd. E. in Mississauga, that will include a geothermal energy system.

The 418-unit project will be located off Hurontario Street south of Square One Shopping Centre and will reach 32 storeys on completion in 2025, stated a recent release. Design is by CORE Architects and interior design is by Cecconi Simone.

Suites will be offered in configurations ranging from one bedroom to two bedroom plus den layouts. Amenities will include 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor leisure features including a co-working and business centre, children’s playroom and outdoor play area, and pet spa and outdoor dog run area.

Other features will include a terrace with barbecues, lounge with seating and dining, party room with kitchen, gym with social lounge, games room, commercial laundry room with lounge, and guest suites. Alba is Edenshaw’s third condominium project in Mississauga.

“Geothermal buildings such as Alba will see a carbon reduction of about 80 per cent compared to a similar building heated by natural gas,” said Carmen Gerasolo, Edenshaw sales manager, in a statement. “Geothermal systems eliminate the use of natural gas to heat and cool the entire building and reduce the amount of energy required to operate the condominium’s central systems. The positive impact for residents includes lower maintenance fees, greater resale value and a mechanical system built with reliability and resiliency.”
