Greybrook plans condo development for east Toronto

Greybrook Realty Partners Inc. announced today the successful closing of an equity investment of $23 million to acquire and oversee the development of properties located on the south side of Cosburn Avenue and the north side of Gowan Avenue between Broadview Avenue and Logan Avenue in Toronto. Greybrook plans to build a highrise condominium residence with 320 units on the property with its partner Marlin Spring.  

 

Indigenous housing plan for Whitehorse

Canada’s Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Ahmed Hussen will be making an announcement on Indigenous housing in Whitehorse, Yukon today. Watch for the details at 9:30 a.m. P.T. 

 

New dock for Georgian Bay park

The federal government yesterday announced $700,000 in funding for the redesign and construction of Tobey Dock in Georgian Bay Islands National Park in Ontario. The new dock will be designed and constructed to withstand water level fluctuations and changing patterns of environmental forces such as ice and wind.

Ontario’s Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development Monte McNaughton has scheduled an announcement for this morning at 10:30 a.m. McNaughton will be speaking from the Toronto community of Etobicoke.
