Edenshaw announces condo plans for Port Credit transit hub

Edenshaw announces condo plans for Port Credit transit hub

MISSISSAUGA, ONT.—Edenshaw Developments has announced the purchase of property adjacent to the Metrolinx Port Credit Mobility Hub in Mississauga with the intention to build condominium residences.

Edenshaw is working with Windsor Private Capital on the plan. The 1.48-acre property is located at 30 Queen St. E.

The mobility hub will offer access to the new Metrolinx Hurontario Light Rail Transit system as well as GO transit linking to the Lakeshore West line and the Milton line. The hub will also have links to the Brampton Gateway.

Access to the Hurontario LRT will be via an underground station. There will also be a civic square at the Edenshaw property.

The development will be multi-storey and mixed use, stated a July 20 release. It will be Edenshaw’s fourth residential condominium in Port Credit.

“The entire Edenshaw team is thrilled to be embarking on this very significant development, and as a long-time Port Credit resident, it’s particularly meaningful to me, and the many Edenshaw staff who grew up in the neighbourhood, to be participating in the positive growth of our community,” said David McComb, president and CEO of Edenshaw, in a statement. “We look forward to working with our partners Windsor Private Capital and Metrolinx in bringing this prominent, landmark site to fruition.”
