TORONTO — Diamond Kilmer recently marked the start of construction on 20 new affordable townhomes in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity GTA with a ceremony at a west Toronto site.
The townhomes at 423 Old Weston Rd. are part of the Reunion Crossing mid-rise project. The project was spearheaded by CreateTO and will be built near a SmartTrack Station that will connect to Union Station and the GO Transit Kitchener line.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held March 31.
Reunion Crossing was recognized by the 2020 Brownie Awards as the Best Overall Project for its contributions to the St. Clair neighbourhood. Diamond Kilmer is also working with Habitat for Humanity GTA on three other projects, at Wellesley, Keelesdale, and Victoria Park.
