Cedar Fair announces new rides for Canada’s Wonderland
CEDAR FAIR — The Tundra Twister ride, engineered by Mondial, will debut at Canada’s Wonderland in Vaughan, Ont. next year.

VAUGHAN, ONT. — Cedar Fair Entertainment Company has announced that its Canada’s Wonderland theme park in Ontario will launch two new rides to debut next year.

The Tundra Twister will operate as a 360-degree spinning swing ride and is said to be the only one of its kind in the world, according to a release. The ride will reach heights of 47 metres and speeds of 75 kilometres per hour.

Snoopy’s Racing Railway will be the park’s 18th roller-coaster and will be situated in the Planet Snoopy sector of the park. The family launch coaster accelerates from zero to 50 kilometres per hour in seconds while engaging in dips and turns.

Tundra Twister is by Mondial and Snoopy’s Racing Railway is by ART Engineering.

“The Tundra Twister will be a sight to behold, swinging and spinning guests high above the midway and nearby Yukon Striker, while Snoopy’s Racing Railway is sure to become a family favourite among our collection of children’s rides,” stated Canada’s Wonderland general manager Norm Pirtovshek in a statement.

Canada’s Wonderland, located in Vaughan, Ont., is a 300-acre theme park with more than 200 attractions including Splash Works, a 20-acre water park.
