MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — Rogers Real Estate Development, Urban Capital and the City of Mississauga celebrated three major construction milestones at M City in Mississauga, Ont.: the topping off of the first two towers at the M City masterplan community and the groundbreaking of M4.
M City was inspired by Mississauga’s Downtown21 Master Plan, a vision that calls for the transformation of the city centre, focusing on a pedestrian-friendly, active, mixed-used urban life, states a release.
M1 and M2 were brought to market in 2017. Both buildings are 62 storeys with architecture by CORE Architects and interior design by Cecconi Simone. Construction started in 2018.
M4, which spans 67 storeys, launched in Spring 2021. According to the development team, it will become one of Canada’s most technologically advanced condominiums. The tower was also designed by CORE Architects with interiors by Cecconi Simone.
M City is a multi-phase, master-planned community located on Burnhamthorpe Road West and Confederation Parkway. Once complete, it will be an eight-tower, 15-acre, 4.3-million-square-foot development, with two acres of new parkland with dedicated connections to the Mary Fix multi-use trail and neighbouring parks.
