Developers announce twin-tower rental project in Laval

LAVAL, QUE. — Cominar, Cogir Real Estate and Divco have announced the launch of a mixed-use residential project with 363 rental apartments in two towers in Laval, Que.

The 160,000-square-foot property is located on Daniel-Johnson Boulevard in the Centropolis community.

The first floor will feature commercial space. On the grounds, the project will offer 40,000 square feet of green space, developed to minimize the heat-island effect, stated a release.

The project will be branded as Mostra Centropolis. Architecture was developed by Forme Studio Architecture, with Frederic Clairoux responsible for interiors.

The towers will rise 12 and 15 storeys with 193 and 170 units respectively. Features and amenities will include a gym, indoor pool, community kitchen, co-working spaces, children’s play areas, urban chalet and rooftop terrace. Besides indoor parking there will be storage and bicycle spaces.

Cominar is one of the largest real estate owners and managers in Quebec; Cogir manages 345 properties throughout Canada and the United States; and Divco is a general contractor with 55 years in the business.
