Construction is moving up for the Quay, a non-typical infill development on Queens Quay West in Toronto.
The developer is Pacific Reach and Multiplex Construction Canada is the construction manager. The project includes demolition of a three-storey podium with construction of a new 21-storey, 263-unit tower at 370 Queens Quay as well as a 77-unit extension at 350 Queens Quay. Amenities include a fitness centre, billiards room, theatre room, conference room, guest suites and a pool deck overlooking Lake Ontario. The project was designed by BDP Quadrangle and consultants are Entuitive Corporation (structural), Smith + Andersen
(mechanical/electrical) and Footprint (geotechnical).
