TORONTO — Representatives from the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto have announced the hotel has gone through an extensive renovation to the tune of $25 million.
The investment – the most extensive since 2013 – included 600 guestrooms in the executive tower, hotel corridors throughout the hotel, and the modernization and refurbishment of the executive tower elevators, states a release.
The Market Garden Restaurant was also refurbished along with the full-service restaurant, the Elm Street Bar & Lounge. This included an expansion to double the seating capacity and the addition of new furniture and lighting.
“This renovation is another very exciting phase in the life of the Chelsea. A newly vibrant and fresh environment, the Chelsea delivers everything one could need at exceptional value,” says Josef Ebner, regional vice-president – Canada and managing director of Chelsea Hotel, Toronto, in a statement.
The hotel is Canada’s largest with 1,590 guest rooms.
