Concrete work is moving along at the 400 King West mixed-use development in Toronto.
The owner is Plazacorp. and the developer is Main and Main. TMG Builders is the construction manager and the work includes one 49-storey tower with 612 suites, three levels of underground parking and ground floor retail. Amenities include a fitness studio, multiple lounges for business and gaming, an outdoor terrace, sauna, change rooms, outdoor pool and a sky lounge. The project was designed by BDP Quadrangle and consultants are Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural), Novatrend Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical), U31 Inc. interior designer and Janet Rosenberg & Studio (landscape). Subtrades include CBM (concrete).
