Work is moving along for the KING Toronto Condos on King Street West.
The owners are Allied Properties REIT and Westbank Corporation. EllisDon is the construction manager and the work includes four buildings ranging in height from 12 to 16 storeys with a total of 514 suites and three levels of underground parking. The towers will have a cubic configuration with verdant rooftop terraces at different heights. The lower ground floors will contain mixed-use programs with a range of retail and commercial space. Amenities include a fitness centre, games and party room, sauna and steam room, hot tub, indoor/outdoor pool and an outdoor terrace. The project was designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) along with Diamond Schmitt Architects. Consultants are RJC Engineers (structural) and Public Work (landscape).
