NEENAH, WIS. – McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm, has been instrumental in the first phase of the Appleton International Airport (ATW) Business Park expansion project.
This expansion, which is set to break ground soon, will lay the foundation for future development and stimulate economic growth by providing an additional access point to the airfield, indicates a release. According to the airport, the expansion will offer the potential for up to 10 new large airplane hangars.
McMahon has been instrumental in assisting ATW with the design and planning of the first phase of the project, which includes the extension of Endeavour Drive to State Highway 76. McMahon’s design includes the Endeavour Drive extension, intersection modifications on State Highway 76, sanitary sewer, stormwater management, fiber optics and an expanded aircraft apron, the release stated.
McMahon has also helped advance the development of the Appleton Airport business park through its projects with Gulfstream. McMahon designed Gulfstream’s paint hangar and played a key role in the expansion and remodeling of its north hangar and adjacent office space.
