TORONTO — The latest developments in the global wood construction sector will be highlighted Nov. 2 as the Wood Solutions Fair returns to Toronto with expert speakers lined up from Sweden, the U.K., the U.S. and Canada.
The fair, presented by Ontario Wood WORKS! and the Canadian Wood Council, combines an industry tradeshow with a seminar program created for professionals who design and build with wood, a media statement indicates.
The presentation topics include acoustics, CLT design provisions, mass timber assemblies, mid-rise construction, low-carbon solutions and award-winning wood buildings. Among the presenters will be Swedish developer Folkem, a leading European wood builder.

The event is taking place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building.
